Two More Bodies Recovered From Lekki Building Collapse

The spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, said the two bodies were recovered this morning.



 

Two more bodies have been recovered from the rubble of the building under construction that collapsed on Oriwu Street in the Lekki Phase 1 area of Lagos State.

The spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, said the two bodies were recovered this morning.

“Two more dead bodies were brought out of the rubble this morning,” Hundeyin said.

The building collapsed at about 4pm. Fourteen labourers were rescued from the rubble, two were immediately recovered dead and their bodies deposited in the morgue.
