This Is No Longer Feminism But Witchcraft

It all began after an X user, Lucy listed the micro-feminist things she does, including hiring only female service workers, tipping female servers and bartenders as well as patronizing woman-owned bookstores.

Ife, a Nigerian law graduate and feminist, is facing backlash over allegations of discrimination against boys.

It all began after an X user, Lucy listed the micro-feminist things she does, including hiring only female service workers, tipping female servers and bartenders as well as patronizing woman-owned bookstores.

Adding to the list, Ife said she only pays transport fares for school girls.

“In addition to this, when I meet school children in a bus I only offer to pay for the girls,” she wrote.

Reacting to her post, Nigerians said her action negates what feminism stands for which, at its core, is about equality between both sexes.

“Feminism is about equality and breaking systemic barriers, not selective kindness based on gender especially with children. Every child deserves support, regardless of whether they’re a boy or a girl. Stop being a dunce,” one Ibrahim Kehinde wrote.

“This is very weird. We’re discriminating against children now? What is the difference between you and the people that don’t give girls equally opportunities because they’re girls. I don’t think you see that you’ve become the monster you’re fighting against. It’s sad,” Adesuwa wrote.

Chisom: “This is not feminism!!!…There is a reason even in wars, Women and children are lumped together!!..Children will always be children regardless of their gender!. You are already creating the monsters you hate!. Phew”

“Nothing good is ever going to come out of ignoring the boy child just to spite the whole gender. How do you even think to be wicked to children? Babies fgs. I hope you know you can’t expect love & unison out out of hate? Whatever this is, is not feminism. You’re just wicked,” another X users says.

“At this point this is no longer feminism but witchcraft… How do you lots reason like this,” Asnwa wrote.
