Controversial Twitter critic, Daniel Regha has reviewed the newly released music video of Wizkid’s dance track, “Kese”.
According to Regha, Wizkid’s attempt to explore a new creative direction fell flat, resulting in a video that lacked energy and failed to captivate viewers.
Regha’s critique specifically highlighted the video’s resemblance to a simple performance video, citing the dancers’ subpar choreography and lack of synchronization. He suggested that more attention to detail during rehearsals could have improved the overall performance.
Despite his harsh criticism, Regha acknowledged the video’s simplicity as a redeeming quality, emphasizing that his comments were not intended to be offensive.
Daniel Regha said: “Wizkid did a poor job in directing the Kese (Dance) video; He’s trying to tap into a different creative direction but the video doesn’t really match the energy of the song, nor is it captivating enough. Truth be told that looks more like a simple Performance video. For one, the dancers needed a better choreography, or should’ve at least perfected the dance steps during rehearsal process cos they weren’t in sync. That said, the video’s simplicity is commendable. No offense.”
