Suspected Drug Addict St@bs 20-Year-Old Man To Death In Niger State

Spokesperson of the command, SP Wasiu Abiodun, who disclosed this in a statement at the weekend said the suspect, Hashimu Sani, stabbed one Musa Bala, to d3ath with a knife.

A suspected drug addict has been arrested by the Niger State Police Command for culpable homicide in Bangi, Mariga Local Government Area of the state.

 

Spokesperson of the command, SP Wasiu Abiodun, who disclosed this in a statement at the weekend said the suspect, Hashimu Sani, stabbed one Musa Bala, to d3ath with a knife.

 

According to the PPRO, the suspect couldn’t state any reason for his action however it was established that he is a drug addict.

 

“On 17th February, 2025 at about 10.30pm, Police operatives of Kotonkoro, attached to Bangi Div arrested one Hashimu Sani 23yrs of Kotonkoro village with two knives stained with suspected blood substance. It was reported that the suspect allegedly used the knives to stab one Musa Bala 20yrs of the same area on the neck,” the statement read.

     

“When questioned, he couldn’t state any reason for his action or any altercation between him and the deceased.

     

“It was only established that the suspect is a drug addict and usually brags that if he k!lls someone, nothing will happen.

     

“He has been transferred to SCID for further investigation and prosecution.”
