Ex-BBNaija housemate, Deeone has spoken about the reality show while asking if it is indeed a blessing or a curse.
In a recent social media video, Deeone shared his thoughts on the challenges housemates face in maintaining relevance and success in the entertainment industry.
Deeone highlighted that only a select few, including himself, Ebuka, and Bisola, have managed to sustain a strong presence in the industry.
He questioned the long-term viability of fame for other housemates, stressing that true impact goes beyond financial gain.
The reality TV personality pointed out that some housemates, such as Erica, Teddy A, and Laycon, had established careers before entering the Big Brother house. While they may have benefited from the show, their success cannot be solely attributed to the platform.
Deeone emphasized that participating in BBNaija can be a double-edged sword.
The show offers unparalleled exposure, but also creates unrealistic expectations and intense pressure. He noted that the struggle to maintain fame and relevance after the show is “difficult times 10.”
