Bahagon Yan Sanda, a well-known Hausa wrestler, has been arrested after allegedly killing a motorcycle rider and attempting to steal his bike in Kano State.
The incident was contained in a post by security analyst, Bakatsine on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Sunday.
According to the post, Yan Sanda was caught by an angry crowd after the attack.
The mob descended on him, beating him severely before security operatives arrived at the scene.
“The suspect was overpowered and attacked by an angry crowd before the police arrived in time to rescue him and took him into custody,” Bakatsine wrote.
