The death of Yusuf Blessing, a Nigerian Police Inspector, who was serving in Ondo State, has stirred serious controversy within the state police command due to the circumstances surrounding his passing.
Blessing, a native of Ikoro-Ekiti, Ekiti State, was serving at Akotogbo, Irele Local Council Area of the state, where he was allegedly burnt to death.
Meanwhile, the wife of the deceased, who is residing in Osi community, disclosed that 24 hours after efforts to reach her husband failed, she received a call from the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, informing her that her husband had drowned.
