Meranda Becomes First Female Lagos Speaker

Hon. Mojisola Meranda has become the first elected female Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly.

She was elected after lawmakers impeached Mudashiru Obasa under whom she served as Deputy.

Meranda represents Apapa I in the Lagos Assembly.
