A civil lawsuit alleging that rappers Jay-Z and Diddy r@ped a 13-year-old girl at a New York party in 2000 has been withdrawn by the accuser.
According to documents filed by the plaintiff in federal court in New York on Friday, the lawsuit was “voluntarily dismissed with prejudice.”
Reacting to the dismissal, Jay-Z described it as a victory for those falsely accused.
“Today is a victory. The frivolous, fictitious, and appalling allegations have been dismissed,” Jay-Z said in a statement posted on his company Roc Nation’s social media page.
“The trauma my wife, my children, and my loved ones have endured can never be dismissed.”
