Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has appreciated Silverbird for honouring her with an award at the just concluded Silverbird Awards.
Recall that Silverbird honoured the actress with a Trailblazer award at the 2024 Silverbird Man of the Year award.
Reacting on her Instagram page, she penned a heartfelt piece appreciating the recognition.
She wrote: “Good evening, distinguished guests, ladies, and gentlemen.
Tonight is more than just an award; it is a reminder that hard work, perseverance, and passion never go unnoticed. I stand here, not just as an individual, but as a testament to every dreamer who dares to push boundaries and break barriers.
The journey hasn’t always been easy, but every challenge has shaped me, every setback has strengthened me, and every victory has fueled my purpose. This award is for every young girl who dares to dream, every filmmaker who refuses to give up, and every believer in the power of storytelling.
To my incredible team, mentors, colleagues, and everyone who has been part of this journey—your unwavering support, encouragement, and belief in me have made this moment possible.
