How A Disciple Impregnated A New Convert – Evang Omolehin Reveals

Evangelist Isaac Omolehin, the founder of Word Assembly Ministries, has disclosed the unfortunate situation where a brother, entrusted with the discipleship of a new convert, impregnated her.

The Ilorin-based cleric who has gone viral for his undiluted teachings made the revelation during the just-concluded World Faith Believers Convention hosted by Pastor Poju Oyemade’s The Covenant Nation.

Fondly called Baba Omolehin, the evangelist warned church leaders about the growing moral decline that has been overlooked and left unaddressed in many congregations.

“When our leaders have deliberately arranged to put us in organised chaos, it becomes more difficult to correct because you are sailing against the current. There are more destroying it(the body of Christ) than those repairing it and those repairing it have a herculean task. Many of them overtime are out of frustration almost going to sit down and accept the end-time decadence as part of the signs of the end. But there are those of us who refuse to accept that and decide to continue to address the sickness in the body because we have a body ministry,”
he asserted.

He also warned against lowering the bar, saying, “You cannot increase quantity and quality at the same time, Whenever you’re increasing quantity, you’re doing so at the expense of quality and we will only enter heaven by quality.”

He shared a deeply troubling account of a situation involving a convert and a disciple that led to an unwanted pregnancy, resulting in the child being taken to an orphanage run by his wife.

He said, “I have watched the body being mismanaged for over 50 years. My wife has an orphanage, for motherless babies, there are no babies without mothers, and circumstances and conditions bring them to the orphanage. The leaders of the Christian union, one of the universities brought a baby and they came with the mother, my wife asked, who is the mother, and they pointed to her.

“We went on evangelism and she gave her life to Christ, we brought her home and looked at the brethren, the ones we can call ‘jim jim’ (referring to the spiritually strong) to help us disciple her, to help us do follow-up and then one followed in. The outcome of that embarrassment is this baby. When she was a sinner, now we brought her into church and what she was not even doing as a sinner, we started to teach her and then covered it with messages on grace. Shall we continue in sin that grace may about? The answer is fatal, it is not just no, say God forbid. The question that arises for those who are leaders is how did this person become a leader in the church?”

Baba Omoleyin went on to express further concerns regarding the management of the body of Christ in these end times. He recounted an alarming incident in which a youth from his church left for the National Youth Service Corps only to return home claiming to be ordained despite not having undergone proper discipleship and training.

“All the young people who came to me to pray in my church said that they were going for NYSC. By the time they came back and I called them, they said they had been ordained. I said, what are you saying, when you were here in our church we still put you in Sunday school and bible study and when I called him, he said point of correction.”

Baba Omoleyin didn’t stop there; he left a poignant message for today’s congregation and churchgoers, warning them about the dangerous spiritual apathy that has settled in the hearts of many.

“The fact that you’re laughing at this thing is even part of the problem because, in the beginning, it was not so. In the 70s when we tell you, you will be weeping.

“Our spiritual senses have become deadened and our capacity to understand decadence and run away from it is gone. Our conscience has become gangrenous and we have lost the capacity to have spiritual feelings and our tear glands are dry, that is part of the problem.”
