Two female siblings aged 12 and 15, have been hospitalized after they were crushed by a hit-and-run driver plying the BRT lane on high speed at Ogundare bus stop along Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, on their way back from school.
A statement from the spokesperson of the Lagos Police Command, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, says the accident victims sustained serious degrees of injuries and were quickly evacuated to Orile Agege General Hospital for treatment, where the 12-year-old sadly passed on while receiving treatment, while the other victim was later transferred to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) for further treatment.
Hundeyin mentioned that the state Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olohundare M.
