Nollywood star and producer, Funke Akindele has made yet another history.
Her movie ‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’ has raked in a staggering N1.6 billion at the box office to become the highest grossing movie of all time in West Africa.
The movie distributor, Filmone made the announcement on its official Instagram page.
“A billy gang, we’re up! Everybody Loves Jenifa has grossed over ₦1.6 billion at the box office! We can’t thank you enough for showing this movie all your love”
Funke Akindele also took to her Instagram page to share the exciting news with her fans.
“Na God do am o!!!!
I am so grateful to you all!!!!
I no know Wetin I go write again!!!”, she wrote.
