Joe Abah, a former Director General of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms, has narrated his positive encounter at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
In a post shared on X, Abah stated that he went through the airport this morning and was in awe of its functionality.
He wrote;
‘’This morning, I landed at Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja. We were directed to a section for Nigerian passport holders. Before me were e-gates, similar to the ones at Heathrow Airport.
I simply scanned my passport and it opened one gate for me. Then I took off my cap and glasses and it scanned my face and opened the second gate. That’s it! I was in!! No long queues. No excessive greeting from any immigration officer asking me what I brought back for them. Less than 1 minute and I was in!!!
Honourable Minister @BTOofficial and CG @nigimmigration, I just want to say THANK YOU! I am proud of you both. God bless you!!”
