The many residents of Bello, Kusumi Lane, and Onakoya communities in the Ketu area of Lagos State have protested against what they claim is the illegal demolition of buildings in their neighborhoods.
In a recent video, the protesters were seen holding placards and attempting to obstruct the ongoing demolition of the buildings.
This was made known via a video on the X handle of TVC News on Wednesday, February 5.
The caption reads: “Residents of Bello, Kusumi Lane, and Onakoya communities in Ketu, Lagos State, are protesting, what they termed, an illegal demolition of buildings in the area, leaving many stranded.
“Armed policemen were mobilised to the area, allegedly on the orders of a monarch after a court order was granted.”
