Sayed Khomeinizadeh Bukhari, the British-Nigerian influencer has made alarming allegations against TikToker Ademola Abiodun, popularly known as DJ Chicken, and his associates, accusing them of kidnapping, extortion, and the s*xual harassment of him and his colleague, Ms. Janet Sanwo.
According to Bukhari, the incident occurred on September 28, 2024, when he visited DJ Chicken’s residence to deliver clothing items from a luxury brand.
He told SaharaReporters that upon arrival, he was allegedly held hostage for over three hours and subjected to physical and verbal abuse.
He added that DJ Chicken extorted him and forced him to spend money on food for the group.
Bukhari also claimed that Ms. Sanwo was s*xually harassed by DJ Chicken and his associates during the ordeal.
He said: “On Saturday 28th of September 2024, I left Samuel Banks to go to Bahamas with a friend who also works with us as a content creator called Ms Janet Sanwo. Richie gave me clothes as an influencer and also gave me more to give to Ademola ABIODUN aka DJ Chicken and DJ YK Mule. I called DJ Chicken to tell him I got a gift for him from Richie and he told me to come to his house. I went there with Ms Janet Sanwo as we wanted to quickly hand over the clothes, exchange pleasantries then go and eat as we were famished.
“I also had a club appearance that day in Ajah (Lagos) hosted by Bamidele Adams. Upon reaching DJ Chicken’s house and after exchanging warm pleasantries, he told myself and Ms Janet Sanwo to wait for him inside his room that he would be back within 5 minutes.
“I told him I was very hungry and had other engagements but he told me that I should wait that he wouldn’t take much of my time and he wanted to just spend a few quality minutes with me; so I obliged him.
“A few moments later, I saw Emmanuel Martins (aka Kashytunes), Afolayan Faruq Pamilerin (aka Badman Doski), Ayomide Adegbemiro (aka Ayomide of Jayplug), Emeka Valentine (aka Agu), Stephen Oluwafisayomi Samuel (aka Steveosky), the first Moro boy as he calls himself, followed by DJ Chicken. As DJ Chicken entered the room he locked the door and hid the keys. All of them started screaming aggressively.
“I stood up, spoke calmly to know what was going on; then Agu punched me in the chest two times, I sat back down and as at that time it got scary, so many threats were being made such as how they wanted to deal with me but I was still baffled as to what really was going on. I was then taken to the next room and monies were being demanded, I then said I would give money but told them my phone was off and someone would help me to charge it, the next minute they hid my phone. Ayomide of Jayplug also said that he had locked the main gate.
“I kept telling them I hadn’t eaten but no one cared. DJ Chicken locked Ms Janet Sanwo in the room with him and his supposed girlfriend and s*xually harassed her. Eventually when I got my phone I had to appeal to DJ Chicken that I didn’t have money and he agreed to me sending him N100,000, I then said I wanted to go and he said I couldn’t go till I bought everyone food.
“I was escorted by the supposed first Moro boy to blackball where I spent roughly N66,000 on food. Upon coming back, they were still reluctant to let us go till they saw that Ms Janet Sanwo was looking unwell, they let us go with the agreement that I would drop Ms Janet Sanwo home and come back.
“As I entered my car traumatised, I drove out fast, stopped on the road and blocked all of them on all social media platforms and then went to find a hiding place. The next day I woke up, seeing content of DJ Chicken defaming me.
“Till today I’m traumatised, Ms Janet Sanwo has also been left traumatised, it was a near death experience for both of us as we were held hostage for over 3 hrs, I missed going back to the pop up, didn’t eat that night and also missed my club appearance. I also feel unsafe and always go out with security.”
He mentioned that the incident was reported to the Alagbon police station in Lagos State and the British High Commission In Nigeria.
He continued: “The police arrested DJ Chicken and others and they were detained but they later got bailed. Since then nothing has been done. I will say the police is doing their best because they are still investigating. But I am not satisfied that these guys did all these to me without feeling remorseful.”
All efforts made by SaharaReporters to get the reaction of DJ Chicken were not successful.
He did not pick repeated calls made to his line and he was yet to respond to a WhatsApp message sent to him, seeeking for his reaction.
