MOUAU Begins Profiling Of Student Arrested With Four Guns

The police had on Thursday announced the arrest of one Chidozie Humble at a private lodge in Umudike, saying that the 21-year-old male is a 300-level student in the Department of Animal Breeding and Physiology of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike.

The management of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State, has announced the commencement of profiling for Chidozie Humble, who was arrested by the Abia State Police Command for illegal possession of firearms.

The police had on Thursday announced the arrest of one Chidozie Humble at a private lodge in Umudike, saying that the 21-year-old male is a 300-level student in the Department of Animal Breeding and Physiology of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike.

But reacting to the news, the Chief Public Relations Officer of MOUAU, Ubadire Agua, said that the Chief Security Officer of the university has been briefed about the arrest of the suspect, noting that the man who claimed to be a student of the school is currently being profiled to ascertain his status as a bona fide student of the university or otherwise.

According to him, the administration of Prof Maduebibisi Ofo Iwe “will never condone any form of criminality involving any student or staff of the university and will cooperate with relevant security agencies to rid the campus and society of criminal elements.”
