Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has slammed Russia.
Speaking on Monday, he shared a video showing damage caused by Russian attacks on his country in the last few days.
In a post on X, Zelenskyy also said that his country is fighting for the “normal and safe life it deserves”.
According to him, over 1,050 strike drones and 20 missiles have been launched at Ukraine to destroy kill people and destroy cities in the past one week.
He added that strengthening Ukraine’s air defences and supporting its army will “make it impossible for Russian aggression to return”.
“Ukraine is fighting for the normal and safe life it deserves, for a just and reliable peace.
“We want this war to end. But Russia does not, and continues its aerial terror: over the past week, more than 1,050 attack drones, nearly 1,300 aerial bombs, and more than 20 missiles have been launched at Ukraine to destroy cities and kill people.
“Those who seek negotiations don’t deliberately strike civilians with ballistic missiles.
“To force Russia to stop its attacks, we need greater collective strength from the world,” Zelenskyy tweeted alongside a video showing damage caused by Russian attacks on Ukraine.
This is coming after Zelenskyy held talks with other world leaders at a London summit hosted by Sir Keir Starmer at the weekend.
