Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi held a protest in Lagos, on Thursday, February 28, demanding justice for late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohabd.

Mohbad’s untimely d8ath on September 12, 2023, has left many unanswered questions, fueling Fabiyi’s determination to keep the conversation alive.

The protest, which started at Alausa and culminated at the Lagos State Police Command in Ikeja, was marked by calm resolve and demands for accountability and transparency in the ongoing investigation.

Fabiyi, holding a bold banner that read, “Justice for Mohbad 2025,” rallied youths to join him in the relentless fight for truth.

This action follows controversial ruling by a Yaba magistrate court, which nulled charges against Mohbad’s former record label boss, Naira Marley, and others.

However, the Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecutions has announced plans to prosecute auxiliary nurse Feyisayo Ogedengbe and Mohbad’s friend, Ayobami Sadiq, for reckless and negligent acts.

Ogedengbe, accused of administering the fatal injection, will face charges under Section 251 (e) of the Lagos State Criminal Law, 2015.

The Lagos state police commissioner, Idowu Owohunwa, stated that Ogedengbe’s actions triggered an immediate reaction that eventually led to Mohbad’s tragic d8ath.
