Fans of Nigerian singers Wizkid and Bloody Civilian have celebrated after their collabo song ‘one love’ with late Reggae legend Bob Marley won a Grammy at the 67th Grammy award show, held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
The song emerged winner of the Best Reggae Album category at the award show.
Wizkid contributed to ‘One Love’ while Bloody Civilian, whose real name is Emoseh Khamofu, contributed to ‘Natural Mystic’.
The project, released alongside the blockbuster film of the same name, features renditions of some of Marley’s most popular tracks, including “Natural Mystic,” “Exodus,” “Waiting in Vain,” “Three Little Birds,” “One Love,” “Redemption Song,” and “Is This Love.
The project was released by Island Records last year February.
Other nominees in the Best Reggae Album category included Evolution by The Wailers, Never Gets Late Here by Shenseea, Take It Easy by Collie Buddz, and Party with Me by Vybz Kartel. Read the full list of 2025 Grammy Award winners.
