Dotun Kayode, the Nigerian on-air personality, video jockey, and actor, who is also known as Do2dtun, has called out a lady who corrected his grammar on X.
The media personality had called out a media organization for owing staff salaries for months but his tweet got the attention of the grammar police.
Dotun wrote on X: “It’s not by force to open a radio station. Owing your staffs for 8 months is very cruel and inhumane. You don’t need a soothsayer to tell you this.”
An X user corrected him by letting him know that the plural of staff is “staff”, not “staffs”.
She wrote: “Mr Dotun I know you’re upset, I am too but there’s no “s” in staff. May God judge all of them.”
But Dotun did not appreciate the correction and he wrote: “In you trying to correct me, you are also an olodo. you are equally wrong.
“There is an “s” in staff
“What you should have said is there is no “s” at the end of “staff”
“it’s the same way you got my message , we all get what you are trying to say too but this one no enter.”
